Project Overview

Trex’s new global headquarters in Winchester, VA, is a state-of-the-art building that spans 64,000 square feet. It was officially opened in December 2023 and houses approximately 200 employees.

Two freestanding aluminum pergolas, manufactured by Structureworks, provide a cool and shady spot for Trex employees to enjoy a meal or work out in nature. These low-maintenance pergolas provide architectural interest and were designed to seamlessly match the building’s exterior.

The factory-manufactured aluminum pergolas were quickly assembled on-site, saving time and manpower. Plus, its factory finish is highly durable, requiring less maintenance over its lifespan.

Challenges:

  • Complement the building aesthetic and design
  • Provide safety, style, and dependability
  • Minimal maintenance and repairs
  • Extend architectural interest in a key location

Solutions:

  • Structures finished to match the building’s exterior
  • Fully engineered design for structural integrity
  • Aluminum design provides strength and durability
  • Powder coat finish for durability
